What does FSC mean?
The FSC certificate (Forest Stewardship Council) is a forest certification system which ensures that raw materials for manufacturing a product come from sustainable forests.
A forest with this certificate is supervised for operation which not only ensures the survival of the forest in the future, but will also improve its quality for both flora and fauna. It also ensures the social and economic rights of workers, and the land and resource property and use rights for indigenous communities.
